AI Education Futures

Summary

Context

Inspired by our recent research work on natural-language processing (NLP) and the public discourse around Lensa.ai’s generative portraits at the end of 2022, I pitched a business development and futures design project around generative AI, later applied specifically to K-12 education. Leveraging insights from past research projects in AI and about Gen Z, I wanted to showcase our capabilities in foresight and responsible product development in AI, and I worked with the company leads to identify target industries, clients, and capabilities to generate and win new business.

I designed, developed, and led studio-wide workshops, defined potential audiences for the work and critical concerns, conducted signals research, developed each product concept and accompanying narrative scenario, and steered the creative direction for the final piece.

A whitepaper with scenarios and critical considerations to bring risks and opportunities to life and ed tech product concepts using AI
